Our daily walk, usually leaving La Peral at about 11.00, would be for 2 to 3 hours with Alfredo and/or Jemina. The walks were an integral part of the course, and gave an opportunity to speak as much or as little Spanish , as one wanted.
After about an hour we would stop for rehydration with water and a tapas that our hosts carried - chorizo, cheese, bread, nuts, fruit. Then carry on back to the car
