
The weather was a bit iffy, and the path suffered in places from mud and puddles. Braver ones than I probably would not have noticed the degradation underfoot, but without my boots, it was a question of picking my way along the margins of the mud for long stretches
The walk was a circular one which took us across high cattle pastures, and a finca. The finca was a bit strange as they had two quite expensive statues of Guardia Civile in their grounds. We stopped near the finca for tapas, and it spitted rain on and off. The last kilometre or so was on an used tack, knee high with wet grass which was somewhat unpleasant
