16 Jul Monday
We left by 10 am on the 16th and had a somewhat rainy drive for a few hours to Bordeaux and its inevitable ring road full of traffic jams. But then a good run to..the Fya winery hotel at Navarette.
They did not have the room we had booked and were somewhat embarrassed by this, offering us free tour the following morning at 10 am but this was useless to us as we wanted to get back home well before six. To be fair we later learnt that the previous guests had broken the shower, and they could not get it fixed in time for us
We bought a bottle of wine and drank some outside in the sunshine Then had a short time in the room before enjoying tapas of pate and cheese outside with such pleasant views. Then back to the room for a coffee
17th July Tuesday
After a good breakfast in a restaurant with spectacular views over the surrounding vineyards, we departed at 9.00, and we had a 6.5 hour drive back to Moraira
As we droved south the temperature increased and was in the low 30s by the time we got to Moraira
A trip to Mercadona, before getting to our house around 16.00
