Qualicum Beach to Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia

En route from Qualicum Beach to Victoria we detoured up the Cowichan Valley, and walked along the lake there.

Lunch at the Zanatta Vineyard in the Cowichan Valley. A very pleasant lunch on the veranda and a fair amount of chat with other patrons.

This was the nicest of all the places we stayed from an overall point of view. Ian & Ann were particularly good hosts, the fresh baked cookies lovely, and the breakfast really was a very good breakfast.
