We went up to the Mount Washington resort, but it was closed for the season, and there was not very much there anyway, then on up to Campbell River, there we stopped for some light refreshment beside the Strait of Georgia that the cruise ships sail through.
Then on up the Gold River Highway to see the lakes and dams there, before returning to Qualicum Beach
I suppose the day was a little disappointing as the highway never ran along the coast very much, and we were travelling through forest for most of the time.
