We walked a long way today, following the maps supplied by the local tourist board. You can walk as far or as little as you like here. There is a vast network of trails for walkers and mountain bikers. The majority of the bikers are young and adventurous, and take the gondola up the mountain in order to descend at great speed.

Our trails therefore were little intruded on by bikes, and there were very few walkers, even though it was the weekend.
And finally we were charmed by these original "do not disturb" and "please make up my room" signs to hang on the room door.
