Its the first of June 2021, and our first trip on an aircraft for 18 months. To even get started we needed Covid tests taken 48 hours in advance - it was fairly easy to organise, expensive (120 euros each), and a bit uncomfortable with the swab up the nose. There werelonger queues, but fewer people at the airport - although I had checked in online, and had our plane tickets, we still had to go to check-in to have our paperwork checked.
On the aircraft, masks had to be worn all the time. And on landing in malta another queue whilst our documents were checked. Then out into the world again, and a taxi to Hilltop
