We left the car at a small car park near the main road. We start ascending on a concrete road for about 900 meters until we got to a small wood which took us eventually to a sort of cobbled path that borders Peña Gúa ,with impressive views of the Somiedo valley
We continued ascending 1.5 kilometers until we reached a hill overlooking the Braña de Mumián, a no longer lived in winter shelter village of old teito huts with views of Peña Gúa , Picu Mocosu and the Sierra del Páramo.
As became the routine on our walks, we stopped for a snack - chorizo, cheese, nuts and fruit - before retracing our steps back to the car
