This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. Its cliff-top setting in Sorrento means that you have breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. You are invited to relax in the communal lounge that opens out onto the terrace, fully equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas and sofas. The terrace is complete with a large hot tub and Mediterranean plants and flowers. Your room is bright and spacious with large windows, some from floor to ceiling. Choose the Junior Suite and in addition you will find 2 panoramic balconies. Start your day with a delicious, homemade breakfast on the terrace. The friendly team of staff at La Minervetta will be on hand to offer you tourist information and recommendations. They can reserve a sun lounger for you at the private beach just 200 m away. Private steps take you down to the fishing village of Marina Grande, where you will find a range of typical restaurants. Alilauro Hydrofoil – The hydrofoil is probably your fastest option from Naples to Sorrento. Hydrofoils are operated by Alilauro and depart from the pier called Moro Beverello in Naples near the Piazza Municipio. The trip will take roughly 40 minutes one-way and a one-way ticket will cost €11. Buying a round-trip ticket won’t save you any money, as they’re €22. Hydrofoils run regularly back and forth from Naples to Sorrento, but make sure you know the schedule (it changes depending on the season) so that you don’t miss the last one. The only bummer about the hydrofoil is that because it’s moving so quickly they won’t let you go outside during the trip. You can see the city and the mountain from the windows, but it’s not ideal for picture-taking. It can also be a choppy ride, so if you’re prone to seasickness you might want to choose the smoother-moving option listed below.

Rome Airport to Naples

The dedicated Naples Alibus Airport Bus shuttles between the airport and Molo Beverello Port, just stopping at Central Station on the way. The bus runs broadly at 20 minute frequencies, (30 minutes at the weekend) between 6 a.m. and about midnight. Journey time is scheduled at around 25-30 minutes to and from the port/city centre . You can buy tickets on the bus from the driver or from agents (mostly tobacconists). Buying from the driver you pay a premium fare above that of tickets bought prior. At the airport Sun Store sells tickets and at the port there are several tobacconists in the immediate vicinity of the stops that sell tickets.
