We went on a 2 week French Language Course at Artemare in the French Jura: Joanna refused to come and went to grandparents. Pam & Alain Bourgeois were the hosts (they have since divorced. We had a gite a few miles away from their house
The course was not really high power, more a holiday with a few French lessons each morning and a couple of days off to boot.But we enjoyed the stay here, and there were some seriously good restaurants in the area when we felt like going out.
We climbed the Grand Colombier, had a tour of the local police station, and a horse ride into the hills.
