The US invasion of Grenada was in 1983, but Americans were still reluctant to travel there in 1987, so there was space available when we sold Springwells and could take a last minute holiday with the children. So it was 3 weeks at the Ramada Renaissance hotel just outside St Georges
Chris & I went to the Christmas service at the cathedral, the only 2 white faces. The service, of the happy clappy sort, went on for hours, and was still in full swing when we left after a couple of hours.
