Our house at Corisande Manor, Cornwall
The we built a new house for ourselves to the left of the main building as one looks at the main building from the sea.
The house was built over two years, as building work had to stop during the busy summer season in the hotel. We moved in to the house at Easter 2004.
Because it was built on the side of the hill, the house does not use conventional fondations, but is built on "mini piles", reinforced concrete rods drilled deep into the bedrock.
